Garderos Virtual RTU runs in a software container on a Garderos ruggedised router. It is aimed at operators of electricity, gas and water networks. The Virtual-RTU can be used to read data from Modbus devices at the remote location and send the data northside via MQTT or SCADA protocols. Running the Virtual RTU software on the router itself eliminates the need for a physical RTU, saving on hardware costs and footprint.
